Paragraphs 1–2 of 5

Princess Lyra lived in a floating palace that hovered above the Neon Forest, where the trees emitted soft blue light. She loved exploring the forest, but she had always been scared of the deep, unlit glades. The forest was not ordinary; hidden among the roots were ancient nanobots that repaired damaged leaves. Lyra has often imagined what it would feel like to walk among them without fear.

One evening, a sudden storm blocked the sky, and the forest fell into complete darkness. Lyra remembered the legend that the darkness could reveal a secret portal to another world. If she could stay calm, she would be able to see the portal’s faint glow. However, her heart raced, and the shadows seemed to whisper doubts.
