Nia is a young cartographer. She draws maps of the misty river valley. Every morning, she walks to the river and checks the old wooden bridge. The baker in the village always says, "The river is quiet today." Nia smiles and writes in her notebook.

One day, a big storm comes. The rain falls hard, and the wind blows strong. In the morning, Nia goes to the bridge, but it is gone. The storm washed it away. She feels sad because she cannot cross the river. The baker says, "We need a new bridge."
