In the Candy Kingdom, where the rivers were sweet and the trees were made of chocolate, there lived a young elf named Fizz. Fizz was small, even for an elf, and he had ears that pointed up like candy canes. Every year, the kingdom held a great competition called the Sweet Migration Race. The winner would get a golden trophy and a year of free candy. But this year, something strange was happening. The sugar grass was drying up, and a terrible drought had come to the land.
The drought made the candy flowers hard and the caramel ponds empty. Many animals, like the gummy zebras and the licorice antelopes, had to graze on the few green sweets that were left. They began a long migration to find the Great Lollipop Lake, which never dried up. Fizz wanted to win the race, but he also felt sorry for the hungry animals. A shadowy predator, the Dark Chocolate Wolf, followed the migrating herds. He was scary, and his eyes glowed like red gumdrops. Fizz knew that the wolf was part of the food chain, but he also knew that kindness could change things.
