If you have logged into our platform using a third-party OAuth provider (such as Facebook, Google, Microsoft, TikTok, or Instagram) or created an account directly, you have the right to request the complete deletion of your data.

How to Request Data Deletion

Method 1: Self-Service Deletion

If you still have access to your account:

  1. Log into your Scholar3 account.
  2. Navigate to your Profile Settings from the top navigation menu.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page to the Danger Zone section.
  4. Click the Delete Account button.
  5. Confirm your decision. This will immediately and permanently delete your account, reading history, and all associated personal data from our servers.

Method 2: Email Request

If you no longer have access to your account, or prefer that we handle the deletion for you, please follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to [email protected] from the email address associated with your account.
  2. Use the subject line: "Data Deletion Request".
  3. In the body of the email, please state that you would like your account and all associated data deleted.

Our support team will process your request and completely erase your data within 7 business days. We will send you a confirmation email once the process is complete.

What Data gets Deleted?

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently erased:

  • Your name, email address, and profile picture.
  • Your reading history, portfolio, and engagement metrics.
  • Any active OAuth connections (Google, Facebook, etc.).
  • All quiz scores and assessment results.

Note: If you delete your account, you will lose access to all generated stories and reading progress immediately.
