The Bear's Last Stand
In a dark forest, where the trees whispered secrets, lived a brave bear named Bruno. He was a giant, with fur as black as night, but his heart was gentle. One day, a terrible monster, with scales of stone and eyes of fire, came to the forest. It roared, and the ground shook, and all the animals ran away in fear. But Bruno did not run; he stood tall, because he knew he had to protect his home.
The monster, who was twice as big as Bruno, smashed trees and threw rocks. Bruno tried to fight, but the monster was too strong. Each time Bruno charged, the monster knocked him down with its huge tail. Bruno's body ached, and his spirit was low. He thought about giving up, but then he remembered the little foxes and the baby birds. They were all counting on him, and he could not let them down.
