In the underwater city of Aquaria, a young dolphin named Splash was playing chess with his best friend, a clever octopus named Inky. Splash loved chess because it made his brain work hard. "Your brain is the control center of your body," Inky said, moving a pawn. "Every move you plan uses neurons that send signals." Splash nodded, but suddenly a giant net fell over him. He was trapped!

Splash tried to swim away, but the net was too strong. He called for help, but Inky had been pushed away by a strong current. "Don't give up!" Inky shouted from a distance. Splash remembered how his neurons send signals to his muscles. He focused his mind and used his memory of the city's layout to find a weak spot in the net. However, the net was made of special seaweed that tightened when touched.
