The Alien's Pyramid Cover-Up: A Lighthearted Lesson in Honesty

Zorp, a lime-green alien who bore a striking resemblance to a novelty squeaky toy, had spent his entire vacation aboard a cramped spaceship. Bored of nebula photographs, he finally landed beside the Great Pyramids to stretch his four spindly legs. His disguise, however, was a worryingly flimsy one: a trench coat and a pair of sunglasses with two lenses too many. Within minutes, a stray camel nearly sat on him, a setback he wisely chose to ignore.

He was rescued from the camel by Dr. Farouk, a cheerful archaeologist who mistook Zorp for a rather odd Dutch tourist. Over fragrant mint tea, Farouk grumbled about the stubbornness of ancient Egyptian scripts. Zorp, eager to impress his new companion, boasted that his translator chip could decipher any writing in the galaxy. In truth, the chip was designed to operate universal remote controls, not to understand centuries-old hieroglyphics.
