The Pirate's Sweet Rescue

Captain Redbeard, who was a gentle pirate, sailed his ship to a strange land. He saw candy trees and chocolate rivers, and he smiled. A small girl named Lolly ran to him and said, “Help us! The sour sorcerer took all the sweet flavors!” The pirate felt a new purpose.

Lolly explained that the sorcerer, who lived in a peppermint cave, wanted to make the kingdom bitter. Captain Redbeard gathered his crew, and they marched with Lolly. They carried licorice ropes and gumdrop shields. They walked past marshmallow mountains and into the dark cave.
