The Elf Who Never Gave Up

Nim lived on a floating island that drifted above the clouds. He was a young elf who loved to watch the stars. Every day, he helped his family gather fruit from the trees. One morning, a loud sound broke the quiet. A giant monster climbed up from the rocks below.

The monster, whose name was Grom, had huge claws and dark eyes. It broke the bridge that connected the two parts of the island. Nim picked up his wooden sword and ran to face the beast. He hit the monster's leg, but the monster laughed and knocked him down. Nim felt sad and wanted to give up, but he remembered his family's smile.
